  • Led design from strategy to post-launch with the PM
  • Redesigned the entry experience across markets

The Challenge

As Health2Sync expanded into new markets, growing regulatory requirements made the entry journey increasingly fragmented. Some users even saw the same terms twice. We wanted to make it easier for users to get started.

Required steps scattered across the original flow, with the same terms appearing twice.

Easy Doesn’t Mean Everything Up Front

The initial idea was to bring all required steps onto the first screen. But this screen already had a high completion rate, and adding more could make the start harder for new users and create unnecessary work for existing users who had already agreed to them.

Front-loading every required task would burden a screen that was already working.

The Right Moment for Required Steps

Instead, I proposed bringing the required steps together and showing them only after the first screen had given new users a reason to get started, while letting existing users log in without repeating those steps.

A shared starting point for all users. New users get one account setup with one tap to agree to all terms; existing users log in without seeing terms again.

Final Design

The redesign reduced the entry journey from seven screens to three. After launch, setup completion increased by 25%. We then iterated on the first screen’s visual design, which brought a 6% increase in overall registration.
